Microbiology

The Department of Microbiology with a well-equipped laboratory, tutorial classroom, and teaching aids is located on the second floor of the college building. According to the BM&DC course curriculum, this subject is included in the 3rd Professional MBBS Examination. 

Academic activities:
Students from the Dept. of Microbiology, KYAMC participate in SIMPIC (Siriraj International Medical microbiology, Parasitology and Immunology Competition, Thailand) every year. Here are a few glimpses of that event.

* Prevalence and Antibiotic susceptibility patterns of E.coli and S. aureus isolated from clinical specimens of KYAMC Hospital, Enayetpur, Sirajgonj.

* Pattern of Carbapenemase-producing pathogens of Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College & Hospital.
