The Department of ENT offers training to the students of 4th and 5th years of MBBS course of theoretical, practical and clinical teachings. The main objective of the department is to produce a community-oriented doctor with basic knowledge of common diseases of Ear, Nose and Throat and in addition to provide introductory knowledge about the recent development. The course is also designed to provide adequate basic knowledge and skill in respect of diagnosis and management of life-threatening emergencies. The allocation of teaching hours for the subject is 40 hours for theoretical lectures and 8 weeks for a clinical clerkship (Ward duties).
