Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College has come into existence in the year 2005 fulfilling the holy wish of the great saint. This academic multidisciplinary hospital of the college is a non commercial venture and is equipped in a ways which are yet to be available in other hospital in Bangladesh.
🏛️ Khwaja Tajmahal Central Library
The Khwaja Tajmahal Central Library is located on the first floor of the college building. It provides comprehensive resources and services for students, faculty, and doctors.
Facilities & Collection
Reading Rooms: Two reading rooms with accommodation for approximately 300 students.
Reference Section: A dedicated reference area for the use of faculty and doctors.
Collection: The library houses a collection of over 9,505 textbooks and approximately 600 national and international journals.
Technology: The library is equipped with five computers, and the entire area is covered by Wi-Fi internet service.
Staff: The library is served by 1 Librarian, 2 Library Assistants, and 3 MLSS.
Library Services & Policies
Students and teachers have the opportunity to access modern medical textbooks of their liking. Materials can be borrowed for use in the reading rooms or on a take-home basis for a limited period.
Membership: To issue textbooks or journals, all users must be a member of the library.
Closures: The library will remain closed during final examinations.
Library Working Hours
The library operates in two shifts:
Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Day Shift: 2:30 PM – 9:00 PM
