Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College has come into existence in the year 2005 fulfilling the holy wish of the great saint. This academic multidisciplinary hospital of the college is a non commercial venture and is equipped in a ways which are yet to be available in other hospital in Bangladesh.
Course Information
Organization of five years MBBS Course:
The College offer five year MBBS course and one year internship training at the KYAMCH as
approved by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council leading to MBBS degree of the
Rajshahi Medical University. The academic session shall be followed as prescribed by
Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Govt. of People's Republic of Bangladesh and
Rajshahi Medical University. During the five years course the Rajshahi Medical University
(RMU) will conduct four professional examinations. The duration and the subjects covered
are as follows:
Content and duration of Four Phases of MBBS Course:
The MBBS course is divided into four phase:

NB: All academic activities including professional examination of each phase must be
completed within the specified time of the phase.
Eligibility for appearing in the professional examination: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Terms of each subject
must be completed.
* Certificate from the respective head of the department regarding students obtaining
at least 75% attendance in all classes (Lecture, practical, tutorial, residential field
practice, clinical, placement etc.) during the phase.
* No student shall be allowed to appear in the professional examination unless the
student passes in all the subjects of the previous professional examination separately.
Pass Marks:
Pass marks is 60%. Student shall have to pass written (MCQ+SAQ+Formative), Oral,
Practical and clinical examination separately.
