Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College has come into existence in the year 2005 fulfilling the holy wish of the great saint. This academic multidisciplinary hospital of the college is a non commercial venture and is equipped in a ways which are yet to be available in other hospital in Bangladesh.

Dr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman is a highly accomplished urologist and Associate Professor, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Urology at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College & Hospital, Sirajganj, Bangladesh. With an MS in Urology from Dhaka Medical College under Dhaka University, he brings over a decade of surgical and academic experience, particularly in uro-oncology, minimally invasive procedures, and reconstructive urology.
Dr. Rahman has independently performed a wide spectrum of complex and common urological surgeries including- Radical nephrectomy, Radical cystectomy, PCNL, TURP, TURBT and LASER procedures. He has also completed advanced laparoscopic training at the World Laparoscopy Hospital in India. Under his leadership, the department has gained BCPS accreditation for postgraduate training.
A life member of the Bangladesh Association of Urological Surgeons and a member of the American Urological Association, Dr. Rahman is also a prolific researcher with over 18 peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals
