Short Biography

Dr. Habiba Akter is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College. Her academic interest include muscle electrophysiology, neuromuscular disorders, and the impact of lifestyle and environmental influences on peripheral nerve function. She has published research exploring electrophysiological changes in peripheral motor and sensory nerves in young male cigarette smokers. 

Dr. Habiba teaches physiology to medical and dentistry students and is actively engaged in lecturing, supervising integrated teaching sessions, and guiding students in their academic activities. She is committed to fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment, integrating innovative teaching strategies with evidence-based research in medical education.
