Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College and Hospital, Rajshahi (November 2016 - November 2017)
My name is Dr. Mst. Nur Naher (Nipa). I completed my MBBS from Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College(KYAMC) under Rajshahi university in 2016 and finished my internship in 2017. I have also successfully completed my MD in Physiology from Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) in 2024.
At present , I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology at KYAMC. I truly love my profession and feel passionate about teaching and academic work.
I have completed the Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (DMU) and participated in several workshops and conferences related to Physiology, lung health, spirometry and pain and memory research.
During my Md, I completed a research project in Neurophysiology, titled “Quantitative Electroencephalogram effects in female patients with Epilepsy: Aromatherapy by Jasmine (Jasminum sambac) essential oil inhalation”
This research increased my interest in brain physiology, EEG, and non-pharmacological intervention. I want to continue doing similar research in neurophysiology and also explore other areas of physiology inthe future.
My professional skills include Gynae and Obstetrics clinical practice, Ultrasonography, CPR and academic task like referencing, presentation and documentation.
I can communicate in Bangla, English, Hindi and Nepali and i can read Arabic.
In my personal life, I enjoy reading, writing, gardening, cooking, and doing yoga.
My research interest include Neurophysiology, particularly on EEG, Epilepsy , and Non-pharmacological intervention. Alongside neurophysiology, I am deeply interested in student psychology, especially the growing challenges faced by young learners. This includes:
Behavioral and emotional changes in students
My actual goal is to improving student well-being, academic performance, and overall quality of life.
