Dr. Muntasir Mahbub is a dedicated Otolaryngologist and Associate Professor in the Department of ENT & Head Neck Surgery at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College & Hospital. He earned his M.B.B.S.from Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital in 2013 and his FCPS in Otolaryngology from the Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons in 2018. Building uponcomprehensive post- graduate training at premier institutions like Dhaka Medical College and sher-E-Bangla Medical College, he brings extensive clinical expertise to his teaching and patient care. Dr. Mahbub is also an active academic researcher, with multiple peer- reviewed publications focused on advanced surgical interventions, pediatric otolaryngology and effective patient management strategies

Dr. Muntasir Mahbub's research interests focus on advancing surgical and therapeutic outcome in Otolaryngology, with a particular emphasis on chronic mucosal otitis media and mastoid surgery. His work extensively explores pediatric ENT conditions, including the correlation between adenoid hypertrophy and audiological parameters, as well as optimizing post- tonsillectomy pain management in children.Additionally, his research delves into rhinology and laryngology, specifically the efficacy of endoscopic sphenopalatine artery ligation for epistaxis and the clinical assessment of therapies for globus pharyngeus. Currently, he is also investigating diagnostic markers, such as serum iron profiles, in patients presenting with oral burning sensations.
